Our organization is dedicated to improving the lives of veterans suffering from mental and/or physical disabilities through trained service dogs, empowering them and their families to achieve lifelong successes and to pave their way home.
PAVE provides service dogs free of charge to veterans with physical and/or mental disabilities. Our main focus is on veterans with PTSD.Veterans receive free training to work as a great team with their PAVE assistance dogs.PAVE assistance dogs are trained to wake veterans from nightmares, redirect during a PTSD episode, reduce hypervigilance through teamwork. They can pick up items, open doors, and other skills as needed by the veteran.
