Founded in 1981, The Alexander Foundation is a public, non-profit, philanthropic organization. Through our community, catastrophic, and holiday assistance programs, as well as educational scholarships, the Alexander Foundation has created a tradition of caring for the LGBT community. For nearly 35 years, the foundation has provided millions dollars to those in need. Most importantly, such assistance has built a stronger LGBT community, and transformed thousands of lives throughout Colorado.Mission - The Alexander Foundation provides financial assistance to the LGBT community of Colorado.VisionThe Alexander Foundation is an all-volunteer organization and through the spirit of giving, we will build a community of strength and dignity.The Alexander Foundation will focus on a healthy, strong and vibrant LGBT community that is able to contribute to the community at large and society as a whole.The Alexander Foundation will help others less fortunate than ourselves, and through a tradition of caring we better ourselves as well as others.The Alexander Foundation will work to create small miracles that build better community relationships, alliances and partnerships that enhance the LGBT community.
