Conservation Corps Of Long Beach

The Conservation Corps of Long Beach serves at-risk youth ages 18-25 through educational opportunities and job training. We provide second chances to high school dropouts with an opportunity to complete their high school diploma at no cost while gaining valuable work skills through our 18 month job training program benefiting our young people and our communities.

Established in 1987 by a group of concerned business owners and citizens, the Conservation Corps of Long Beach is a California, certified corps. Our mission is to help at-risk youth reach their full potential through work, service, conservation and education. Education is our key focus for our young people who come to our program. Over 90% of our young people are either under or unemployed facing issues such as homelessness, child care issues or having no job training. The Conservation Corps of Long Beach offers a free WASC accredited charter school to all program participants through the Education Corps. Students attending are encouraged to continue into secondary education and qualify for our scholarship opportunity. Last year over 500 young people were served through our educational program or our job training program.
