Creativity for Peace trains young Palestinian and Israeli women to partner as leaders by transforming anger and prejudice into mutual respect, facilitating an understanding of the other and inspiring action to promote equality and peace.

Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 2003 and operating in the USA, Palestine, and Israel, we use dialogue and art to introduce the story of the other side and develop the compassion and healing necessary for reconciliation. Programs for more than 300 young women, beginning when they are in high school, include:• A three-week summer peace intensive in New Mexico• Year-round gatherings in Palestine and Israel• Advanced leadership training and practice • Workshops and other projects facilitated by young peacemakers for their peers in Israel, Palestine, and the United States Sixty young women have actively trained and practiced leadership skills in local, regional and global settings, including the United Nations, World Economic Forum, Global Youth Summit, Rothko Chapel, World Affairs Council of Houston, University of Texas and many more.
