MEarth is an environmental education nonprofit with the mission to educate and inspire through environmental stewardship. Our hands-on programs come to life at the Hilton Bialek Habitat, a 10-acre outdoor education center in Carmel Valley, where thousands of students of all ages delight in our inspired programs annually.
Under MEarth’s stewardship, the Habitat has become a nationally-recognized environmental education center replete with native plant gardens, a pond, off-grid solar greenhouse, native plant nursery, monarch butterfly habitat, outdoor amphitheater, organic edible garden, heirloom fruit orchard, outdoor kitchen/wood-fired pizza oven, and a LEED-certified cooking classroom. Over the years, MEarth’s programs and client base have broadened to introduce sustainable practices and healthy lifestyle choices to youth and adults from across Monterey County -over 6,000 annually- focusing participants on the pressing environmental issues facing our planet.
