PACE provides high quality behavioral therapy, education, and residential care for children and adults with autism.

At PACE our mission is to enhance the lives of people impacted by autism, through innovation, exceptional education, and compassionate care. PACE was founded in 1989 by parents and educators to meet the specialized needs of children with autism and their families. We began with fewer than ten students and two group homes, and now annually serve 50 students in our school, 32 residents in six group homes, and close to 50 children in an early intervention program that consists of a preschool and behavior therapy program. For our youngest clients and their families, we run three programs including Sunny Days Preschool, FACES Behavioral Services, and Little FACES. Our biggest program, PACE School, is a year-round public school located in Santa Clara. The PACE School serves students ages 6-22 who live with moderate to severe autism, with specific emphasis on non-verbal students and those with especially challenging behaviors and communication disorders. Lastly, our residential programs provides safe and secure housing for children and adults in six group homes located in San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Cupertino. In recent years, we have expanded beyond the brick and mortar of our building to help those in the greater autism community by developing Porchlight, a free, online program designed to provide parents and caregivers with solutions for behavioral therapy to implement at home. We now have over 50 learning modules and continue to expand.
