MARINO BELLENA NATIONAL PARK
Famous for the humpback whales that migrate here, this marine reserve is a favorite for avid whale watchers. The best times to visit are between December and April and July and November—when the whales come in to calve.
True to its nature, the shape of the beach harkens the spirit of the whale—literally. Two beaches come together to form one in the figure of a whale’s tail. Walking out to the tip of the tail is something everyone here must do.
A four-day festival focusing on inner health and wellbeing, this takes place on the beach and features a wide array of events and activities, to include: concerts, yoga, fire dancing, meditation among a host of other things.
