The Eastern coast of the Dominican Republic is all about the sun and fun. Having become one of the hottest spots in the Caribbean, Punta Cana offers travelers a true taste of sandy beach living. White stretches of shoreline and an abundance of water activities mark any day here in Punta Cana.
Increasingly becoming one of the most popular all-inclusive resort destinations in the area, Punta Cana, make no doubt about it, is designed with vacationers in mind. A ton of restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs, entertain people when not on the beach, and while on the beach, it’s all about the snorkeling, parasailing, even swimming with the dolphins.
  • THE BEACHES

The sand is the whitest and most powdery version in the world. This is why Punta Cana’s beaches are such a huge draw. Two of the more popular: Playa Bavaro and El Cortecito. You can generally find any type of water sport/rental/activity available right on the beaches.

  • GOLF

As it is a resort destination, golf is on many tourists’ agenda when visiting the coastal region. Punta Espada—a Jack Nicklaus designed course—should be a must play for any fan of the lynx. Imagine swinging a club against a breathtaking backdrop of sun, sand and sea.

  • HOYO AZUL LAGOON

Otherwise known as the Blue Hole, this is actually a cenote—a sinkhole formed as a result of the roofs of caves and underground caverns collapsing over the course of thousands of years. The water is pure blue here, and, according to most, a one-of-a-kind experience. Hoyo Azul Lagoon is located inside of Scape Park.
