In order to get to the Perito Moreno Glacier we must travel to the Glacier National Park. Perito Moreno is located 70 kilometers from the city of El Calafate and 362 kilometers from the city of Puerto Natales. This tour along with the full day Torres del Paine the national park and Pali Aike Balmaceda and serrano navigation are the most sought full days when vacationing in southern patagonia.
The tour starts at 06:30 am when you’ll be picked from your hotel. We’ll cross the Chile/Argentina border as we head to El Calafate to meet your guide and head into the Glacier National Park. After about two hours of exploring the Perito Moreno glacier, you’ll return to the city of El Calafate, where you can either stop quickly to grab a bite to eat before returning to Puerto Natales, or stay the night in El Calafate.
