It's a gorgeous hike taking in all the beauty nature has to offer…also, lots of jokes regarding the Hoh Rainforest.
Private Hiking and Wildlife Viewing Tour in Olympic National Park's Rainforest And Coast (October 15 To May 15)
306 West 3rd Street, Port Angeles, WA 98362
You will experience Olympic National Park's Hoh Rainforest and Ruby Beach during the fall, winter, or spring with the possibility of observing Roosevelt Elk, River Otters, and Pacific Salmon. An 8-10 hour private guided hike with Carolyn of Experience Olympic will focus on the marine ecosystem and temperate rainforest environment, with special emphasis on the wildlife, plants, lichens, fungi, and algae encountered while on our outdoor adventure.
The curtains of moss and famously large evergreen trees will provide couples with an abundance of fresh air and solitude, creating lasting memories allowing you to appreciate all the rain promises. Speaking of memories, photographs will be shared with you after our day together.
Choose to hike the shorter but popular Hoh Rainforest Hall of Mosses and the Spruce Nature Trail loops or the longer Hoh River Trail to Mineral Creek Falls. The selection of the two shorter Hoh Rainforest loop hikes might allow for a longer hike on Ruby Beach if desired and the tide is right. Plan to hike 3-6 miles, and come prepared for the chance of rain - this is a rainforest after all!
You will be picked up at dawn from your lodging, provided it is within two miles of downtown Port Angeles or Forks, and provided energy-boosting breakfast, lunch, and snacks. For this experience, we recommend the Lake Crescent or Kalaloch Lodge for overnight accommodations, where you will also be picked up.
