Our 90 Minute Public Art Walk Encourages You To Find Your Playfulness Through Art And History.
PO Box 31154, Seattle, WA 98103
Welcome to Fremont, Center of the Universe. Have you ever fired a rocket or participated in an "ART ATTACK?" Would you like to meet a troll's cousin? These are just some of the silly things we do as we explore the quirky public art of Seattle's Fremont District. This program is a mix of public sculpture and improvisational street theater. It is presented by a stellar staff of tour guides like The Fremont Fairy Godmother, Jeffe, the Turkish Rap Singer and Rocket Man, Super Hero sort of. Their mission is to encourage you to find your playfulness through art and history. And that is what happens!!
The Fremont District has a colorful history and is one of Seattle's most popular neighborhoods. It has public art at every turn. With public squares, watering holes, fabulous food and an open air market, it has a very lively and playful atmosphere. We invite you to come see it with The Fremont Tour, a street theater.
