San Bernardino is a city about 60 miles east of Los Angeles. The city sits in the valley next to the mountain range of the same name.
The San Bernardino National Forest is the area’s biggest draw. The area offers outdoor recreation and beautiful mountain views. Another random but notable site in San Bernardino is… (wait for it)… McDonald’s. The original McDonald’s was in San Bernardino and many tourists visit the on-site McDonald’s museum today.
  • SAN BERNARDINO NATIONAL FOREST

The best way to see the National Forest may be Scenic Route 38 near Big Bear. The views are some of California’s best. You can also explore the area via the endless hiking trails.

  • MCDONALD'S

You might not expect McDonald’s to make our list of things to do, but the history and the impact of the first location are staggering. For better or worse, this site kicked off the fast food revolution in America.

  • RACING

San Bernardino loves their racing (cars and motorcycles). The city has a variety of venues for events and entertainment. The Orange Show Speedway hosts racecar events throughout the year, including the Nascar Series. The Glen Helen Raceway is one of the best dirt tracks in the country and the raceway features major Motocross events.
