Evergreen was settled in 1859 as a ranching community. Evergreen offers a huge variety of activities, from shopping and dining to hiking and ice climbing. The biggest attraction is Evergreen Lake.
  • EVERGREEN LAKE

The lake is like a postcard. It is beautifully surrounded my mountains. During the summer, visitors come to hike, bike, boat (non-motorized), and fish. One of the recently more popular activities is standup paddle boarding. The lake is also hugely popular during the winter. Evergreen Lake is perhaps the state’s best destination for ice skating. The lake includes a boardwalk and a skating hut.
