Divided into North Tahoe and South Tahoe, visitors to either can always find plenty of fine dining, resort spas, and certainly a dynamic nightlife.
  • SKIING

Tahoe is historically known for its skiing. From the Olympic caliber Squaw Valley to the world renowned Granlibakken, the epic slopes here attract the likes of A-list celebrities, athletes and visitors from around the globe. Snowboarding and sledding, are also popular—basically anything you can do in the snow, you can do in Tahoe.

Straddling the border between Nevada and California, the lake itself is utterly tranquil and mesmerizing. Sand Harbor beach encompasses over 50 acres of beautiful shoreline. Nearby Chimney and Secrete Cove beaches are also very popular spots for sun lovers. On the lake you will find paddleboarders, kayakers, jet skiers and of course swimmers.

  • NIGHTLIFE

There’s a little something for everyone. The casinos are obviously a huge draw and keep the entertainment going until the wee hours. As far as food and drink in Lake Tahoe, you can find just about everything. As this is a resort kind of town though, fine dining establishments are pretty prevalent.

  • GOLF

Voted one of the best Golf Destinations in the US, Lake Tahoe has a dozen gorgeous, professional grade courses. What makes them so spectacular is the scenery which surrounds them.

THE WEATHER
  • Winter is a wonderful time to be in Lake Tahoe. Skiing during the day and gambling, dining, and partying at night.

  • Spring is an off-season in Tahoe as it becomes too warm for skiing but too cool for the summer lake activities.

  • Summers are another active time in Lake Tahoe. The highs are typically in the upper-70s and it is the dry season. Perfect weather for playing outside.

  • Early fall can be a nice time to visit to see the changing of the colors.
