Just two miles west of the Vegas Strip you will find the town of Spring Valley. A suburban area, Spring Valley features plenty of shops, restaurants and malls, along with one of the largest parks in the region, Desert Breeze Park at which visitors can enjoy walking, biking, and various sports. The park also holds a number of festivals and local events.
Spring Valley is also known for its Chinatown. Heralded in a number of prominent publications to include the Wall Street Journal, Las Vegas Chinatown represents a more modern take on what Chinatown is now.

    While in Spring Valley there are a few tasty places to try. Certainly, you can also venture just a couple miles to the Strip and have plenty of culinary options. There are also several celebrity-helmed restaurants in Vegas’s downtown.

  • OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

    Located near many of Nevada’s most beautiful scenic destinations, Spring Valley is a great place to stay if you’re thinking of venturing out into Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead or the Valley of Fire.

  • NIGHTLIFE

    You have access to some of Las Vegas’s most happening night clubs, as casinos are in abundance just a stone’s throw from Spring Valley. Visit the Bellagio, float down the canals of the Venetian or enjoy the glamour of the Cosmopolitan.

THE WEATHER
  • Winters are cool. The strip has plenty of activity year-round, but visiting in the winter means skipping a lot of the outdoor activities.

  • Spring and fall are the ideal seasons. Plenty of sunshine, and warm, but not crazy-hot temps. Spring is the dry season. May highs are in the upper-80s.

  • Summers are scorching hot, as daily high temps can push towards 110 degrees.

  • Falls are another great season to visit. October highs remain in the 80s.
