TOP 10 WINERIES IN OREGON
While there’s plenty of fantastic wine coming out of Oregon, this Top Ten list is more concerned with the wineries themselves, where you’ll visit for a relaxing winetasting and possibly tour and meal.

HILLCREST VINEYARD (ROSEBURG)

For a very comfortable environ visit HillCrest where you’ll feel like you’re just a friend of the family coming over for a post-work drink. Tours can be specially arranged, and tastings are offered daily from 11AM – 5PM.

LE CADEAU (DUNDEE)

We love how Le Cadeau self-describes its meaning as “the gift” then clarifies to say that “wine is not the gift; it is only the excuse.” Make an excuse for yourself to visit for a tasting and buy a bottle or two to take hope. The quaint and comfortable setting is perfect for an intimate tasting.

ARGYLE WINERY (DUNDEE)

With one of the largest wine libraries in the region, you can bet on seeing some decades-old wines in this New World winery. After a tasting, take a stroll through the Argyle Garden just outside to see some native plants, evergreen trees, and the countries largest single installation of native live oak trees.

GRAN MORAINE (WILLAMETTE VALLEY)

Kendall Jackson may be a four-letter-word in many wine enthusiasts’ minds but don’t pass by this winery too quickly. The huge winemaker zestfully purchased some land in Oregon to get on the growing wine scene up there. The benefit is you can count on the fact that they know what they’re doing with both making wine and creating a tasting experience unique in itself.

Consider visiting this conglomeration of thousands of wine lovers by attending a Pairings Wine Dinner. For $75/person you’ll learn tasting tips from the Winery Chef while indulging your senses to the sights, smells, and flavors of fine dining paired with very local wines.

Book ahead for a visit and tasting to Bergström Wines; but you’ll be happy you did! The vines here are biodynamically grown and the farmhouse is picturesque.

Rex Hill takes pride in its elegant Pinot Noirs, and they’ll help you taste the key subtle differences between wine styles. We strongly recommend that you play around with their variety of tasting options. There’s the tour and tasting paired with a local provisions board. There’s the barrel tasting tour. And, our favorite, they have a pinot, beer, and coffee tasting which will introduce you to your own taste buds.
